Nujabes changed my Life...

... it seems that we lose someone amazing all the time nowadays...
when i heard that Jun Seba had passed away i really couldn't believe... all that could come to mind was the first time i heard nujabes... it was 2006, driving in a honda accord, under the influence, heading home from jack in the crack with D and omar and all i could remember was listening to nujabes's mystline and seeing the way the streetlights danced across the interior of the car... maybe it was just me or the influence i was under but it seemed like such a timeless ballet... perfectly in sync... a moment ill never forget.. since then its been one hell of a ride... countless mixtapes with your hits on them... In india the only thing id listen to on the plane or whenever i had to sleep was the soft elegance that was nujabes.(jamie cullum x Nujabes = perfect playlist)... mixing the most classical of sounds with the raw jazz beats was something so moving in me... the world lost a legend like always... but your work will stay with me for as long i can and so you truly wont ever be gone... just like every other timeless entity that hip hop loses you take your place amongst the greats
forever missed but never forgotten...
Rest in Peace Jun "Nujabes" Seba

"Damn, I was such a big fan of the man. Not only his music, but his character too. I remember when a hip hop fan got back from Japan they always asked him if he went to his record shop and took pictures of it and if they met Nujabes himself. Because it was so rarely to see him on image, he communicates with music like no one else did. His vinyl were always hard to get for non Japan heads, it was crazy how they were sold. The underground world really recognized him and always will, no doubt about it. He was one of the best hip hop producer of Japan and that is what he will always be remembered for, R.I.P. my friend, we'll miss you. 2010, damn... "
