parks and recreation is actually really funny
initially i hated the American Office when it came out because the british one was 10000x as funny and smart... but the Office won me over once the show got going
just is the case with Parks and Recs... it looked like a it took the offices niche and style and applied it to a park scenerio... but its cast found the characters and its actually really fun to watch how emersed the ensemble is in each character... sooo good
