It hurt to watch this...

"We Were Once A Fairytale" - Kanye West Dir: Spike Jonze from Yooj‽ - Recording Live From No on Vimeo.

SOOOOO I started reading kanye's blog about 2 years ago when i felt extremely flat and bland if that makes any sense, i was looking to learn more about what it was like to be a beyond famous and respected hip hop producer and rapper... in that time i feel ive gained a pretty private insight into the man who is kanye west... every so often kanye goes on and writes... about himself, about how he feels, about the situation, or just to talk to his fans. So when he does things that leave the media and the majority of people scratching their head with his behavior, it causes me to wonder about how little these people know about who the person that kanye west is. When i watch this movie all i see is his pain, and what is hard to watch is how real it is, To say that spike jonze is less than genius in his effort to bring out the realness in film would be a total understatement. The dude is good, real good... and the fact that Kanye teamed up with him to put this out shows the beauty of where Kanye West is in his life....

I mean i only read his blog and even i can see how real this dude is, how in a emotional and mental sense this dude thinks just like i do, Makes extremely extravagent decisions and feels pain and sorrow and heartache just like i do... well maybe not on the same scale but in sense id do the same, yea he tells people that its HIS music on the radio or thats his music playing in a club, and a lot of people feel like its not right of him to be in utter shock over the fact that his blood sweat and tears are be played in a swanky restaurant or as background filler at a party...

fact is i make shitty beats and even still, ill sit and just listen to it... not because im feeding my own ego but because i take a certain amount of pride knowing that i figured out something that most people cant... even if its bad... it took skill and effort and in the end thats all that really can determine who you are...

I think Kanye is just like me in that sense... he just wants to appreciate the work that went into the final product....

ok im done now...
