"When a rather large-sized (M 3.6 class) flare occurred near the edge of the Sun, it blew out a gorgeous, waving mass of erupting plasma that swirled and twisted over a 90-minute period (Feb. 24, 2011). This event was captured in extreme ultraviolet light by NASA's Solar Dynamics Observatory spacecraft . Some of the material blew out into space and other portions fell back to the surface. Because SDO images are super-HD, we can zoom in on the action and still see exquisite details. And using a cadence of a frame taken every 24 seconds, the sense of motion is, by all appearances, seamless. Sit back and enjoy the jaw-dropping solar show."

...I think the main reason I'm posting this is because I see and hear soooooooooo many people talk shit about the govt and how it's run, how Barack is whack, how he doesnt do shit, how hes a Nazi, how he is a figurehead for big corporations and curuption in America, how America is falling apart and how he doesnt do anything, how bad it is over here, etc and so forth...
im just sick of it
I caught the latter end of his speech last night and saw the commentary from CNN and CNBC and couldnt believe how much bashing these stations were doing. There were sooo many important points that his speech talked about and they did nothing to report on, instead they talking about his performance as a speaker and how he fucked up halfway thru... It WAS an hour long SPEECH people, how the fuck do you stay relevent when you've been talking for an hour straight?????? I wont get into how the media twists the truth for their own gain... needless to say I was pissed...
so last night I made a point of reading the speech first then watching it. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND YOU DO THE SAME
If I pulled anything from it, it was that our congress and house are not as divided as it may seem, if anything they want to work together without showing favoritism to any one party, trying to create a Nation that's better for all instead of for just democrats or republicans, there are a lot of initiatives that President Barack Obama is trying to pass and I truly think that we are on the cusp of seeing an entirely new world with America poised to change for the better if ordinary citizens take a stand...
